Hello everyone, this week we start our new cycle, cycle 13!
It talks about farm animals, thing to see at the farm and we are also going to practice the song, Old MacDonald had a farm!
We recommend this song because it's easy to sing and it's fun!
Here is how to use this song:
1. We have added above the link to the video of the song. Just a reminder, the video is only for the adults' reference of the song but not for the kids to watch.
2. Here is the lyrics to the song that you can enjoy with kids of all ages. You can practice the animal names and the animal sounds as well! If they're small, you can also play to mime the animals while repeating their names. Always good to add actions to words.
New vocabulary
We also added some flashcards with the words for cycle 13 for you to be able to practice with your kids! If you print these cards and after a couple of practices, you can place them around the house and whenever you say the word your child would look for the card and give it to you. When they hand it to you they would have to say the word to get a point. Of course, the prize for their hard work all depends to you! 😀
